Zusammenfassung
In diesem Fallbericht wird eine eosinophile Dermatitis um die Präputialöffnung eines Dahomey-Ochsen beschrieben, die durch eine Insektenstich-Hypersensitivität gegen Culicoides spp. verursacht wurde. Nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen der Autoren ist dies der erste Bericht, der einen intradermalen und serologischen Allergietest bei einem Rind beschreibt.
Abstract
This case report describes an eosinophilic dermatitis on the prepuce of a Dahomey-Ox caused by an insect bite hypersensitivity against Culicoides spp. To the best of the authors’ knowledge, this is the first report describing intradermal allergy and serological testing in cattle.
