MRT: Fettsättigungstechniken und ihre Vor- und Nachteile

Bei vielen klinischen Fragestellungen kann der Signalbeitrag von Fettgewebe in MRT-Aufnahmen das Erkennen wichtiger Gewebestrukturen behindern und die Bildqualität verschlechtern. Mit „Fettsättigungstechniken“ soll dieser Beitrag des Fettsignals abgeschwächt werden. In diesem Beitrag werden ihre Prinzipien vorgestellt und die Vor- und Nachteile bei der Anwendung abgeleitet.
