Das Second-Victim-Phänomen – eine unsichtbare Herausforderung für den gesamten OP

Fehler und kritische Ereignisse gehören trotz aller Bemühungen zur Verbesserung der Patient*innensicherheit zum Alltag im Gesundheitswesen. Sie betreffen nicht nur Patient*innen, sondern auch das involvierte Personal. Diese Belastung, bekannt als Second-Victim-Phänomen, wird oft unterschätzt. Gerade für Pflegekräfte und ATA/OTA im OP, die tagtäglich mit hochkomplexen und belastenden Situationen konfrontiert sind, ist das Second-Victim-Phänomen besonders herausfordernd.
