Zusammenfassung

Es wird über ein neuerliches chirurgisches Operations- verfahren bei der Koarktation der Aorta anhand von 7 Säuglingen berichtet. Die Koarktation wird dabei durch einen Subklaviapatch plastisch erweitert. Die Ergebnisse werden vorgestellt, die Vorteile diskutiert.

Summary

A new surgical repair of coarcation of the aorta is reported on 7 infants in the first year of life. Here-by the subclavian artery is used as a modified patch for the coarctation and utilised for re-establishing aortic continuity. The results and advantages are pre- sented and discussed.
