Zusammenfassung

Bei einem 27jährigen Patientenmit Durchtrennung der A. carotis interna dextra wird trotz Bewußtlosigkeit und linksseitiger Hemiplegie die arterielle Rekonstruktion durchgeführt. Es kommt zu restitutio ad integrum. Anhand der Literatur werden die offenen Fragen der Therapie traumatischer Karotisdurchtrennung diskutiert. Vor allem wird zu den Problemen Zeitpunkt, Art des Eingriffes und intraoperativer Shunt Stellung genommen.

Summary

The case of a young male patient with gun-shot-trauma of the internal right carotid artery is reported. The primary arterial reconstruction in the hemiparetic and unconscious man was successfully done. The problems of the carotid shot trauma – especially indication, time of reparation, kind of operation and the intraluminary shunt – are discussed.
