Zusammenfassung
Von 1964 bis 1975 wurden 338 Patienten mit einem Pankreaskarzinom behandelt. In 69 Fällen (20%) konnte radikal in Form einer Duodenopankreatektomie operiert werden. Die postoperative Letalität betrug 16%. Zweiteingriffe sind durchaus lohnend. So betrug die Resektionsquote nach auswärts durchgeführter Erstoperation immerhin 27%. Insgesamt haben fünf Patienten 5 Jahre und 19 Patienten mehr als 2 Jahre überlebt. Seit 1971 überleben bisher 30 Radikaloperierte.
Summary
From 1964 to 1975 a total of 338 patients were operated on for pancreatic cancer. Duodenopancreatectomy was performed in 69 (20%), at a postoperative death rate of 16%. Second look operations proved to be worthwhile. Thus the resection rate after first operations elsewhere was 27%. Five patients lived for more than five and 19 for more than two years after operation. Since 1971 30 patients have survived so far after radical operation.
