Zur angiographischen Diagnostik der Echinococcuserkrankung der Leber

Zusammenfassung

Bei drei Patienten wurde ein Echinococcusbefall der Leber festgestellt; in einem Fall handelte es sich um Echinococcus cysticus, in den beiden anderen Fällen um Echinococcus alveolaris. Eine sichere Diagnostik der Echinococcuserkrankung der Leber und die genaue Feststellung der Lokalisation gelingen bei kombinierter Anwendung von selektiver Arteriographie, Radioisotopen, klinischchemischen und immunologischen Untersuchungen. Auf Grund der angiographischen Befunde ist eine Unterscheidung zwischen Echinococcus cysticus und alveolaris möglich.

Summary

Three cases of hydatid disease of the liver are reported, in one cystic, in the other alveolar in character. The definitive diagnosis and exact localization were achieved by a combination of selective arteriography, injection of radio-isotopes, and biochemical and immunological tests. The angiographic pictures made it possible to distinguish between cystic and alveolar hydatid.

Acerca del diagnóstico angiográfico de las afecciones equinococócicas del hígado

En tres pacientes se comprobó la afectación hepática por Echinococcus; en un caso se trataba del Echinococcus cysticus y en los otros dos casos del Echinococcus alveolaris. Un diagnóstico seguro de la afección equinococócica del hígado y la localización exacta se lograron mediante el empleo combinado de la arteriografía selectiva, isótopos radiactivos y exploraciones inmunológicas y clínico-químicas. A base de los hallazgos angiográficos es posible diferenciar entre Echinococcus cysticus y alveolaris.
