Zusammenfassung

Die Bougierung der Papilla Vateri ist in der Mehrzahl der Fälle von Choledochotomie anwendbar und stellt zusammen mit dem primären Choledochusverschluß das Verfahren der Wahl bei unkomplizierten Fällen dar. Bougierung der Papille, transduodenale Papillotomie (beide mit primärem Choledochusverschluß!) und Choledochoduodenostomie stellen nicht konkurrierende Verfahren dar, sondern jede Methode hat ihr fest umrissenes Anwendungsgebiet. Es besteht nach unseren Erfahrungen und Ergebnissen kein Anlaß, am Wert der Papillenbougierung bei unkomplizierten Fällen — und diese stellen bei weitem die Mehrzahl dar — zu zweifeln.

Summary

Dilatation of the papilla of Vater can be employed in the majority of cases after choledochotomy and, together with primary closure of the bile duct, is the method of choice in uncomplicated cases. Dilatation of the papilla by bougie, transduodenal papillotomy (in case of primary choledochal closure) and choledocho-duodenostomy are each methods which have their clearly circumscribed field of indication. In uncomplicated cases, dilatation of the papilla is in the authors' experience of undoubted value. The analysis is based on the results of 1639 operations for calculi of the biliary tract during the last ten years.

El sondeo de la papila de Vater es aplicable en la mayoría de los casos de coledocotomía y junto con el cierre del colédoco primario constituye el procedimiento de elección en casos no complicados. El sondeo de la papila, la papilotomia transdüodenal (ambas con cierre del colédoco primario) y la coledocoduodenostomía representan procedimientos no concurrentes, sino que cada método tiene su campo de aplicación bien circunscrito. Según nuestras experiencias y resultados no hay motivo para dudar del valor del sondeo de la papila en casos no complicados, que representan por mucho la mayoría.
