Zusammenfassung
Nach einem Trauma am Zeige- und Mittelfinger der linken Hand (Rißwunden mit Gefäßverletzung
und Quetschung) stellen sich Durchblutungsstörungen an den betroffenen Fingern ein,
und es entwickelt sich im Laufe der folgenden Jahre am stärker verletzten Glied ein
„Trommelschlegelfinger”. Es wird angenommen, daß diese Entwicklung auf die unfallbedingte
lokale Hypoxämie zurückzuführen ist.
Summary
The case is described of clubbing restricted to the middle finger of the left hand
after trauma to this digit and the second finger (skin tear with damage to blood vessels
and severe compression). Clubbing developed in the middle finger, which had been the
more severely injured one, in the course of the subsequent years. The cause is thought
to be local hypoxaemia induced by trauma.

Acerca de la génesis de los dedos en forma de palillos de tambor
Después de un traumatismo en los dedos índice y medio de la mano izquierda (heridas
con desgarros, lesión vascular y magullamiento) sobrevienen trastornos circulatorios
en los dedos afectados, desarrollándose en el curso de los años siguientes un «dedo
en forma de palillo de tambor» en el miembro más lesionado. Se supone que tal desarrollo
sea atribuible a la hipoxemia local debida al traumatismo.
