Das normale weiße Blutbild

Zusammenfassung

Die heute geltenden Normalwerte für das weiße Blutbild stammen aus der Zeit vor dem ersten Weltkrieg. Untersuchungen an Studenen haben in den letzten Jahren Zweifel an der Gültigkeit dieser Normalwerte aufkommen lassen. In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird über Untersuchungen an 135 gesunden Angehörigen einer kasernierten Polizeitruppe berichtet. Die Grenze der Norm wurde so gezogen, daß 95% aller gefundenen Werte in sie hineinfielen. Die Gesamtzahl der Leukozyten lag zwischen 3500 und 8400/mm³. Der prozentuale Anteil der Eosinophilen schwankte zwischen 0,25 und 6, der der Stabkernigen zwischen 0,5 und 4,75, der Segmentkernigen zwischen 42,25 und 65, der Lymphozyten zwischen 21,5 und 45,5 und der Monozyten zwischen 2,75 und 11. Diese Grenzen weichen zum Teil erheblich von denen der früheren Normalwerte ab. Gut ist dagegen die Übereinstimmung mit den bei Studenten, besonders bei Studenten vor dem Examen, gefundenen Zahlen. Die absoluten Werte zeigen bei Polizeibeamten und Studenden eine logarithmische, die Relativwerte eine arithmetische Variabilität. Verschieden waren nur die Werte der Eosinophilen und der Stabkernigen. Die gefundenen Werte des weißen Blutbildes werden als gegenwärtig allgemeingültig angesehen. Als Ursache für Verschiebungen der Leukozytenzahlen gegenüber früheren Zeiten wird die zunehmende seelische und körperliche Beanspruchung diskutiert.

Summary

Normal values for the white count were established before the first world war and are recognized to-day. In recent years, investigations on students have cast doubt on the validity of these values being normal. Here, the results of investigations on 135 healthy policemen living in police barracks are reported. Limits of normal were set in such a way that they comprised 95% of all values found. Total white count ranged between 3,500 and 8,400 mm³. Percentage of eosinophils was between 0.25 and 6, stabs between 0.5 and 4.75, polymorphonuclear cell between 42.25 and 65 and of lymphocytes between 21.5 and 45.5, finally of monocytes between 2.75 and 11. These figures partially deviate remarkably from those previously considered normal, whereas there is a satisfactory congruence in the findings with students, especially in those prior to the examination. The absolute values in both policemen and students show a logarithmic, the relative values an arithmetic variability. Only the values of the eosinophils and stabs were different. The values as found by these investigations are considered the currently standard values. The values of the white blood count have changed compared to the past owing to the increasing psychological and physical strain and stress.

La fórmula leucocitaria normal

Los valores normales que rigen actualmente para la fórmula leucocitaria provienen de antes de la primera guerra mundial. Investigaciones efectuadas en estudiantes han producido en estos últimos años ciertas dudas sobre la validez de estos valores normales. En el presente trabajo se informa sobre las investigaciones llevadas a cabo en 135 familiares sanos de un grupo de la policia acuartelada. Los límites de la normalidad fueron trazados de tal forma qué comprendían el 95% de todos los valores obtenidos. La cifra total de leucocitos se halla entre 3.500 y 8.400 por mm.³. El tanto por ciento de los eosinófilos oscila entre 0,25 y 6; el de los cayados entre 0,5 y 4,75; el de los segmentados entre 42,25 y 65; el de los linfocitos entre 21,5 y 45,5 y el de los monocitos entre 2,75 y 11. En parte, éstos límites se desvían considerablemente de aquellos valores considerados anteriormente como normales. En contra, las cifras halladas entre los estudiantes, especialmente antes de examinarse, coinciden mejor con estos datos. Los valores absolutos presentan una variabilidad logarítmica en los policías y estudiantes y los valores relativos, una variabilidad aritmética. Solamente los valores de los eosinófilos y cayados eran diferentes. En general, las cifras encontradas para la fórmula leucocitaria se consideran actualmente como válidas. Como causa de las variaciones de las cifras de leucocitos frente a las de los tiempos anteriores, se discute sea por un aumento en las exigencias psíquicas y somáticas.
