Summary
The levels of oestrogens in isolated follicles of rats were low until day 3 of pregnancy then elevated during the next three days and were again low until day 21. On that day, a sudden rise took place which continued on day 22. Follicular androgene followed the pattern of oestrogens. Progestagen amounts were virtually negligible.
