Die sezernierende Mamma bedarf immer einer sorgfältigen Abklärung. An einem Krankengut von 80 Patientinnen wird der diagnostische Wert der Galaktographie gezeigt. In 78% konnte mit dieser Untersuchungsmethode die Ursache der Sekretion nachgewiesen und direkt bildlich dargestellt werden. In 5% der Fälle entdeckten wir ein kleines intraduktales Malignom, dessen einziges Symptom die Sekretion war. Die Untersuchung sollte bei jeder sezernierenden Brust zur Anwendung kommen, zumal sie ambulant, risikolos und ohne Aufwand durchzuführen ist.

Summary

Nipple discharge must always be carefully examined. The diagnostic value of mammary duct injection is shown in a material of 80 patients. With the help of this method, the cause of the discharge could be established and presented pictorially in 78%. In 5% of the cases we discovered a small intra-duct carcinoma, the only symptom of which was the discharge. Mammary duct injection should be used for every patient with nipple discharge, particularly since it is a simple procedure without complications.
