Karotisangiographie mit Subtraktion bei Glomustumoren des Mittelohres

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über 4 Fälle von Glomustumoren des Mittelohrs berichtet, bei denen eine Karotisangiographie mit Subtraktion durchgeführt wurde. Bei 3 Fällen konnte der Tumor, allerdings erst mit der Subtraktionsmethode, einwandfrei nachgewiesen werden. Bei einem vierten, operativ gesicherten Fall gelang die angiographische Darstellung nicht.

Summary

Four patients with glomus tumours of the middle ear are described, in whom carotid angiography with subtraction was carried out. In three patients the tumour could be clearly demonstrated by using the subtraction method. In a fourth case, in whom the diagnosis was made at operation, angiography was unsuccessful.
