Ergebnisse der Galaktographie - ein Beitrag zur Früherkennung des Mammakarzinoms

Zusammenfassung

Bei 67 von 231 Patientinnen wurde aufgrund der Galaktographie eine Milchgangsexzision durchgeführt. Kriterien zur Probeexzision waren Milchgangsdestruktion, Milchgangsabbruch, Konturunregelmäßigkeit und Kontrastaussparungen im Galaktogramm. Die histologische Aufarbeitung ergab bei 24 Patientinnen ein Karzinom. Lediglich eine Patientin hatte axilläre Lymphknotenmetastasen, kein Tumor war palpabel gewesen. Die Galaktographie stellt als Auswahlkriterium zur Milchgangsektomie eine wichtige Methode für die Frühdiagnose des Mammakarzinoms dar.

Summary

Excision of lactiferous ducts was carried out in 67 patients out of a total of 231 on whom galactography had been performed. Criteria for excision were destruction of the duct, its occlusion, irregularities of contour and leak of contrast on the galactogram. Histological examination demonstrated a carcinoma in 24 patients. In only one patient were there axillary node metastases where no tumour was palpable. Galactography is an important method for the early diagnosis of breast carcinomas in lactiferous ducts.
