Die angiographische Morphologie der Arterienverletzungen
The andiographic morphology of arterial injuryPublication History
Publication Date:
03 August 2009 (online)
Summary
The angiographic motphology for various arterial injuries is described and illustrated by means of 46 patients examined by us; these consisted of 13 socclusions, 21 arterial rupture and 12 arterial lacerations. The main angiographic feature is thrombotic occlusion of the damaged artery. Consequently, the pathology of the arterial lesion could be defined in only one third of the patients with arterial injuries. This, however, is not of major importance in planning vascular surgery.
