Introduction

It is known, that severe illness and extreme starvation (i. e. anorexia nervosa) can lead to significant changes in thyroid metabolism. Most often a Low T3 Syndrome is observed. We report on a six year old girl with central hypothyroidism as a result of poor eating behaviour and consecutive malnutrition.
