Ossified Chronic Subdural Hematoma

Introduction

Calcification of chronic subdural hematoma or cephalhematoma has been reported on several occasions in the literature. Nevertheless, ossified chronic subdural hematomas have been reported only rarely [2] [6] [7] [9] [15] [24]. In this report, we present a case of a 30-year-old woman with chronic subdural hematoma that was seen to be affected by a giant crust-like ossification, which was successfully excised.
