In der zahnärztlichen bzw. parodontologischen Praxis stellen sich Patienten mit den unterschiedlichsten Krankheitsbildern vor. Am Beispiel des Morbus Behçet wird gezeigt, dass grundsätzlich nicht nur die Lokalbehandlung der oralen Ulzera im Vordergrund stehen darf. Die Therapie der oralen Manifestationen beim Morbus Behçet sollte vor allem im Rahmen einer Interdisziplinärbehandlung erfolgen. Hierzu gehören u.a. auch eine professionelle Zahnreinigung und eine umfassende Parodontaltherapie sowie eine optimale Unterweisung und Motivation für die häusliche Zahnpflege. Die interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit, u.a. auch mit den Kollegen der Inneren Medizin, ist insgesamt für den Therapieerfolg von entscheidender Bedeutung.

In dental or periodontal surgery patients with different diseases introduce oneself. The example of Behcet's disease shows that, in principle, not only the local treatment of oral ulcers may stand in the foreground. The therapy of oral manifestations in Behcet's disease should be done especially in the context of an interdisciplinary treatment. These include a professional dental cleaning and a comprehensive periodontal therapy as well as optimal training and motivation for home care. The interdisciplinary cooperation, also with colleagues in internal medicine, is of crucial importance for the therapeutic success.
