Der vorliegende Fallbericht zeigt das von den Autoren bevorzugte Verfahren zur Versorgung einer Einzelzahnlücke im Oberkiefer-Frontbereich bei traumatisch bedingter Zahnschädigung mit nachfolgendem Zahnverlust unter Verwendung des ANKYLOS®-Implantatsystems, dass für seine gewebestabilisierenden Eigenschaften bekannt ist. Bei sachgerechter Indikationsstellung und Patientenauswahl kann durch eine Sofortimplantation ein langfristig stabiles, ästhetisch ansprechendes Resultat erzielt werden. Weitere Vorteile sind eine verkürzte Behandlungsdauer, ein geringeres Operationstrauma sowie der Verzicht auf einen Zweiteingriff.
