Ergebnisqualität von Laborprozessen in der Lingualtechnik: Vergleich der gängigen Verfahren

Zusammenfassung

Die Linguale Orthodontie hat sich in den letzten 20 Jahren in Bezug auf die Qualität der klinischen Behandlungsergebnisse durch die Einführung neuer Methoden im Laborprozess und in der Therapie stark weiterentwickelt. Die Voraussetzung für ein gutes Behandlungsergebnis liegt neben dem Können des Behandlers in hohem Maße in dem zugrundeliegenden Laborprozess begründet. Die gebräuchlichen Verfahren sind die Hiro-Technik, das CLASS-System, der Laborprozess nach Kyung, das BEST-System nach Fillion, das EURAPIX-Verfahren, der TOP-Prozess nach Wiechmann sowie das INCOGNITO-Verfahren. Diese 7 Laborprozesse werden bezüglich ihrer Ergebnisqualität anhand einer Behandlungssimulation verglichen. Damit sollen dem Behandler Entscheidungshilfen für die von ihm zu treffende Wahl des Laborprozesses gegeben werden.

Abstract

In the last 20 years lingual orthodontics have developed tremendously concerning the clinical results. Not only the skill of the clinician but also the underlying laboratory procedure has a big influence on the clinical outcome. Common laboratory procedures are the Hiro technique, the CLASS-system, the procedure of Kyung, the BEST-system of Fillion, the EURAPIX procedure, the TOP-System of Wiechmann and INCOGNITO. Those 7 procedures are compared concerning their influence on treatment quality by a simulation in order to help the clinician in choosing the right process for his purpose.
