78. Jahrestagung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Kardiologie 2012, Mannheim – Thrombektomie bei primärer PCI bei Patienten mit STEMI

Die Thrombusaspiration mittels Aspirationskatheter bei Patienten mit ST-Elevations-Myokardinfarkt (STEMI) führte im Rahmen der TAPAS-Studie ("Thrombus Aspiration during Percutaneous coronary intervention in Acute myocardial infarction Study") zu einer signifikant höheren vollständigen ST-Segmentresolution mit Reduktion der 1-Jahres-Mortalität [ 1 ]. Basierend auf diesen Daten sprechen die aktuellen Leitlinien der europäischen [ 2 ] und der US-amerikanischen Fachgesellschaften [ 3 ] eine Klasse IIa Empfehlung aus für die Thrombusaspiration des Infarktgefäßes im Rahmen eines STEMI.
