Psychosoziale Interventionen in der Palliativstation – Eine Übersicht

Unter psychologischer Palliativtherapie – wie unter Psychoonkologie allgemein – verstehen wir psychotherapeutische Interventionen, die sich an den Möglichkeiten der Krankheitsverarbeitung und am Krankheitsverlauf der in diesem Fall terminal erkrankten Patienten orientieren. Umfassender Kontext ist das Bestreben, die Lebensqualität zu erhalten, zu stabilisieren. Der psychologische Dienst ist als Liäsondienst in das Behandlungsteam integriert und basiert auf den in der Klinik üblichen Voraussetzungen: wissenschaftliche Qualifikation, medizinisch-therapeutisches Setting, den Aufgaben entsprechende Ausstattung und Arbeitsorganisation. Als Teil des Behandlungsteams hat der psychologische Dienst auch die Kommunikation und Kooperation im Team zu reflektieren und dafür spezifische Problemlösungen anzubieten.

The term psychological palliative therapy – as for psychooncology in general – is used to describe psychotherapeutic interventions that are oriented to the possibilities of disease management and to the clinical course of the terminally ill patient. The global aim is the effort to stabilize and maintain the patient's quality of life. The psychological services are integrated into the treatment team as a liaison service and are based on the usual clinical prerequisites: scientific qualifications, medical-therapeutic setting and facilities and organization appropriate for the task at hand. As a component of the therapeutic team, the psychological services should also reflect the communication and cooperation within the team and offer specific solutions to arising problems.
