Zusammenfassung
In Leipzig praktizierten 1933 vor Beginn der nationalsozialistischen Diktatur 5 jüdische
Urologen. Die 5 Ärzte waren Hans Abelsohn, Felix Salo Danziger, Hans Hirschel Tobias
Goldmann, Manfred Moses Haas und Siegmund Kaiser. In diesem Artikel werden ihre Lebensläufe
nachverfolgt. Einer von ihnen kam im KZ Auschwitz um, die anderen 4 konnten das Land
verlassen und immigrierten in die USA, nach Kanada, Israel und Großbritannien.
Abstract
Before the Nazis seized power in 1933, five Jewish urologists practiced in the city
of Leipzig: Hans Abelsohn, Felix Salo Danziger, Hans Hirschel Tobias Goldmann, Manfred
Moses Haas und Siegmund Kaiser. This contribution traces their lifes and careers.
One of them was murdered at the Auschwitz concentration camp and 4 immigrated to the
United States, Canada, Israel und Great Britain.
