Wirksame Inhaltsstoffe und Akzeptanz von zwei tropischen und zwei einheimischen Arzneipflanzen

Zusammenfassung
Zwei afrikanische Arzneipflanzen (Garcinia kola, Cola nitida) und zwei heimische (Thymus vulgaris, Hypericum perforatum) wurden hinsichtlich ihrer Wirksubstanzen verglichen. Es wurde ein Fragebogen entwickelt, um festzustellen, wie die Akzeptanz von Phytopharmaka außereuropäischer Herkunft in der deutschen Bevölkerung ist. Dabei ergaben sich aus den Erhebungen Unterschiede zwischen 5 verschiedenen Altersgruppen, bei der Art der Applikation (Tee, Öl, Salben, Tabletten, Tropfen) und ebenso bei dem Bezug von verschiedenen Kontinenten.
Summary
Comparison of phytopharmaceutical acceptance of two tropical and two European medicinal plants
Two African medical plants (Garcinia kola, Cola nitida) and two European (Thymus vulgaris, Hypericum perforatum) were compared with regard to their main therapeutic relevant substances. A questionnaire was developed to determine the acceptance of herbal medicinal products in the German population. The study showed differences between 5 age groups with reference to the type of medication (tea, oil, salve, tablets or drops) as well as the frequency of origin from different non-European countries.
