Zusammenfassung
Deutschland verdankt seine im internationalen Vergleich hervorragende medizinische
Versorgung zu großen Teilen dem Zwei-Säulen-Modell aus Privater und Gesetzlicher Krankenversicherung.
Dank seiner Vielfalt und Wahlfreiheiten bietet dieses duale Gesundheitssystem allen
Menschen eine individuelle und gute Versorgung. Einheitsversicherungen hingegen, das
zeigt der Blick über die Grenzen, steuern in Richtung Rationierung, Wartelistenmedizin
und einem schlechten Zugang zum medizinischen Fortschritt.
Abstract
By comparison with international health care systems, quality and access to medical
treatment in Germany is excellent. One of the main reasons for this outstanding position
is the competition between the two insurance systems. The coexistence of Private and
Statutory Health Insurance ensure a high level of diversity and freedom and thus provide
an individual and good treatment for everybody. Countries with only one health insurance
system on the other hand are characterized by less medical benefits, longer waiting
times and a restricted access to medical progress.
