Erwartungen des Hämodialysepatienten an die Pflegekraft – Pflicht und Kür

Die dominierende Behandlungsform der chronischen Niereninsuffizienz ist in Deutschland die intermittierende Hämodialyse. Über 99 % der Rezipienten begeben sich dazu in eine ambulante Einrichtung. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es zu erforschen, welche Erwartungen hämodialysepflichtige Erwachsene an die sie betreuenden Pflegekräfte haben. Mittels einer Literaturrecherche nähere ich mich der Thematik. Ein qualitatives Studiendesign, das Interview, wurde als Zugang zur Forschungsfrage gewählt. Insgesamt befragte ich 4 Patientinnen und 5 Patienten. Fünf Probanden sind älter als 74 Jahre, 4 sind 40 Jahre oder jünger. Die Dialysezeiterfahrung beträgt bei 5 Patienten mehr als 10 Jahre, bei 4 Patienten weniger als 3 Jahre. Die Interviews wurden aufgenommen, transkribiert und inhaltsanalytisch ausgewertet. Im Ergebnis konnte ich 4 Erwartungsbereiche identifizieren: Erwartungen an die sozialen und fachlichen Kompetenzen sowie an organisatorische und informative Fähigkeiten. Die meisten Erwartungen betreffen die sozialen (Kür) und die fachlichen Kompetenzen (Pflicht) einer Pflegekraft. Diese sollte die beiden dominierenden Kompetenzbereiche in sich vereinigen, um als wertvolle und geschätzte Pflegekraft wahrgenommen zu werden.

The dominating treatment form of chronic kidney disease in Germany is intermittent hemodialysis. More than 99 % of the recipients use ambulant centers for this treatment option. The aim of this work is to explore which expectations adults with chronic kidney disease have towards nurses taking care of them. I used a literature research to approach the topic. A qualitative study design, the interview, was chosen as an approach to the research question. In total, I interviewed 4 female and 5 male patients. Five probands are older than 74 years, 4 are 40 years or younger. Total dialysis experience is more than 10 years for 5 patients and less than 3 years for 4 patients. The interviews were recorded, transcribed and analyzed content-relatedly. In the results, I could identify 4 expectation areas: expectations towards social and professional competences as well as towards organizational and informative abilities. Most of the expectations affect social (additionals) and professional (obligation) competences of a nurse. A nurse should combine both of these dominating competence areas in order to be seen as a precious and treasured nurse.
