In jüngerer Zeit wurde in der Fachliteratur und in der Presse über unerwünschte Wirkungen einiger Kunststoffarten diskutiert. Dabei wurden auch Bedenken laut, inwieweit dentale Polymere betroffen sind. Gehören kieferorthopädische Materialien auch zu dieser Gruppe von Polymeren und wie sollen wir uns als Praktiker gegenüber den Fragen unserer Patienten verhalten?
