Besonders bei Implantatversorgungen kann es zu einem Abplatzen der Keramikverblendung bei der Anwendung von Zirkonoxid-Gerüsten kommen. Als Alternative bietet sich die Anwendung von industriell hergestellten Kunststoffverblendschalen an, die sowohl für die provisorische Versorgung im Rahmen der Sofortversorgung als auch für die definitive Versorgung mit konventionellen Gerüstmaterialien oder innovativen Kunststoffen geeignet sind.
