1. “Furthermore, even the complication rate of the participating clinic with the highest sedation related complication was only 0.00246 % and at least an order of magnitude lower than reported in the recently published largest retrospective study on almost 400.000 patients [25].”

Korrigiert: “Furthermore, even the complication rate of the participating clinic with the highest sedation related complication was only 0.246 % and comparable to the recently published largest retrospective study on almost 400.000 patients [25].”

2. “In our study, the sedation related mortality of 0.00003 % was comparable to the literature. Here, sedation associated mortality has been reported between 0.001 % and less than 0.000001 % [6–18].”

Korrigiert:“In our study, the sedation related mortality of 0.003 % was comparable to the literature. Here, sedation associated mortality has been reported between 0.1 % and less than 0.001 % [6–18].”

3. “Nevertheless, the sedation related mortality of the present survey was higher as reported by Rex et al. (1 death out of 600.000) in his retrospective meta-analysis [6] but at least an order of magnitude lower as reported by the largest retrospective study from Germany [25].
