Die röntgenologische Kontrastmittelaufnahme nach Fiske-Jackson ist eine neue Methode zur präoperativen Beurteilung der Manica flexoria. Bei Pferden mit Tendosynovitis der Fesselbeugesehnenscheide sollte diese Untersuchungsmöglichkeit routinemäßig eingesetzt werden, weil die sonografische Untersuchung allein eine geringe Sensitivität besitzt.
