Neues zu Brachyspiren-Infektionen beim Schwein

Brachyspiren sind beim Schwein hauptsächlich als Erreger der Schweinedysenterie bekannt, verursacht durch Brachyspira (B.) hyodysenteriae. Daneben werden häufig meist als apathogen eingestufte Brachyspiren-Arten isoliert. In den letzten Jahren sind neue Brachyspiren-Arten entdeckt und neue Möglichkeiten der Diagnostik entwickelt worden.
