Summary

Black cumin has been used as a medicinal plant for more than 3000 years. Traditionally, black cuminʼs areas of therapeutic application are so wide-ranging to the extent that it is also referred to as an all-round-panacea. To the scientist, the plant might at first glance seem to be a non- serious “indication lyric”. However, recent studies suggest that the versatile healing successes of black cumin are largely associated with its positive influence on the immune system.
