Einleitung

Infantile Hämangiome sind vaskuläre Tumoren mit einem charakteristischen Verlauf (Abb. [1]). 4 – 10 % der Kinder sind betroffen [1] [2]. Meist kurz nach der Geburt oder innerhalb der ersten Lebensmonate fallen die kutanen Tumoren – im Volksmund auch Blutschwamm genannt – den Eltern als kleine Läsion auf und führen zur Konsultation beim Kinderarzt. Selten sind Hämangiome schon bei der Geburt sichtbar und müssen dann differenzialdignostisch gegen vaskuläre Malformationen abgegrenzt werden. Infantilie Hämangiome sieht man häufiger bei der kaukasischen Rasse, seltener bei Asiaten und Afrikanern [3] [4].
