Die Diagnostik der Leiste erfolgt beim liegenden Patienten. Falls kein Thrombusnachweis in der Leiste vorhanden ist, erfolgt die weitere Kompressionssonographie am sitzenden Patienten (mit entspannter Muskulatur).
