Salter-Harris Type III Fracture of the Proximal Humerus in a Dog

This case report describes a Salter-Harris type III fracture of the proximal humerus in a seven-month-old dog. The humeral head was a completely free fragment and was reim-planted as massive osteochondral autograft. Treatment and comparison with similar fracture in human are discussed.
