Zusammenfassung
Die Philosophie lässt sich nicht nur als eine Nachbardisziplin, sondern auch als eine
Grundlagenwissenschaft für die Psychiatrie auffassen, deren Bedeutung in den letzten
Jahren national und international stark zugenommen hat. Der vorliegende Beitrag stellt
drei grundlegende Aufgaben dar, die die Philosophie in der Psychiatrie erfüllen kann:
1. Klärung der psychiatrischen Grundbegriffe; 2. Methoden- und Paradigmenreflexion;
3. Grundlegung psychiatrischer Konzeptionen. Schließlich werden die speziellen Themen
des 1. Leib-Seele-Problems, 2. des Ursachenbegriffs, 3. des Krankheitsbegriffs und
4. der Subjektivität erörtert.
Summary
Philosophy may be regarded not only as a neighbouring discipline, but also as a foundational
science of psychiatry whose importance has significantly increased in the last years
on the national as well as international level. The paper points out four fundamental
tasks that philosophy can fulfil within psychiatry: 1. clarification of fundamental
notions; 2. reflection of methods and paradigms; 3. foundation of psychiatric concepts.
Finally, the special topics of 1. the mind-body problem, 2. the notion of causation,
3. the notions of illness and disease, and 4. the issue of subjectivity are discussed.
