Abstract

Highlights of the 74th annual Liga Medicorum Homeopathica Internationalis (LMHI) congress are offered in this brief report. LMHI and LIGA are used interchangeably.

About the Author

Mr. Yasgur is a pharmacist, author and homeopathic consultant who graduated, in 1976, from the Duquesne University School of Pharmacy. His M.Sc., in Allied Health, was received in 1987 from the University of North Florida. He has written many book reviews, articles and his Yasgur's Homeopathic Dictionary and Holistic Health Reference (1990, 1992, 1994, 1998) is a popular reference. He has produced and edited several other works, e.g., Some Clinical Experiences of E. E. Case, 111 Great Homeopaths, The Dunham Lectures of Kent, Homoeopathic Materia Medical for Nurses (B. C. Woodbury, Jr.), Glen Dupree's Homeopathic Thesaurus and created a homeopathic calendar for the year 1995. He was the first to offer an accredited homeopathy continuing education program (PS1-022-085-05; 1.5 ceu) for pharmacists in the United States when, on May 19, 1985, he presented an educational film and lecture, ‘The Fundamentals of Homeopathy and Macrobiotics,’ during the Pinellas Pharmacists Society meeting in Clearwater, FL. In 1990, he presented a poster concerning homeopathy at the annual American Pharmaceutical Association (APhA) meeting in Washington, DC.
