Raymond Edge (May 8, 1948 to June 10, 2021)

Edge, Raymond (1948—6–10–2021) was founder of the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine. He was an inspiring musician, homeopath, dean, entrepreneur and artist who began his healing arts career as a medical herbalist, graduating from the Dominion Herbal College (British Columbia, Canada) in 1978.

He graduated from the School of Homoeopath program in Devon, England, and served as Director of the Mirianog West Children's Clinic in Wales. That clinic provided low-cost homeopathic treatment for underprivileged children. On his return to Toronto, Ray founded the Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine which is the longest running homeopathic college in North America.

Raymond taught and trained hundreds of people in homeopathy leaving an amazing legacy of healing. Raymond was a registered member of the North American Society of Homeopaths (NASH), the College of Homeopaths (CHO) and also certified in classical homeopathy with the Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC). In 2019, he retired from his positions as dean, core lecturer and clinical supervisor at the school which he founded.

Ray's first love was perhaps music. He was a gifted singer, songwriter and guitar player and played in many bands including Dollars, Dealer's Choice and Ray Edge and the Sensations. In 2005, Ray released a solo album 'Soul Connection' for which he received the award for Top Male Artist from the Toronto Independent Music Awards and several of the songs on his album ranked highly in both the American and British song writing competitions.
