Fallstricke in der Proktologie

Zusammenfassung

Jedes Fachgebiet in der Medizin enthält spezifische Probleme, die, wenn sie nicht richtig erkannt werden, unerwünschte Folgen erzeugen können. Die folgende Abhandlung entstand aus der langjährigen Erfahrung eines proktologischen Zentrums und erhebt nicht den Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit.

In der Wahrnehmung der Patienten sind Erkrankungen des Anus höchst unangenehm und mit einem Tabu belegt. Hinzu kommen die häufig unausgesprochenen Ängste vor einem Malignom und die als sehr unangenehm und schmerzhaft antizipierte proktologische Untersuchung zum Tragen. Aus dieser Gemengelage heraus entstehen die ersten Fallstricke.

Abstract

Each section in medicine contains specific problems. If they are not recognized correctly, they can produce undesirable consequences. The following discussion originated from the vast experience of a center for proctology, and does not claim completeness.

In the patient’s perception, especially medical problems in the taboo area anus are very unpleasant. In addition to this, the often not mentioned fears of malignancy and the anticipated unpleasant and painful examination make understanding of the patient’s real problems more difficult. Lack of experience and exaggerated therapeutic activity is often the cause for many pitfalls in this field.
