Zusammenfassung

ENTSTEHUNG EINER CHRONISCHEN INSTABILITÄT NACH EINEM INVERSIONSTRAUMA Im Fußball, im Basketball, im Volleyball, im Tennis oder im Turnen sind Kapselbandverletzungen des Sprunggelenks leider nur allzu gut bekannt. Und es ist kein Geheimnis, dass das Sprunggelenk in etlichen Sportarten zu der am häufigsten verletzten Körperregion gehört. Meistens führt ein Inversions- oder Supinationstrauma zu einer Strukturschädigung des lateralen Kapselbandkomplexes. Weitaus weniger bekannt ist jedoch, dass in der Folge einer derartigen Verletzung oftmals ein längerfristiges Problem auftritt – eine chronische Sprunggelenkinstabilität.
