Die Windeldermatitis ist eine der häufigsten Hauterkrankungen bei Säuglingen und Kleinkindern. Ursächlich sind Irritationen und Hautbarrierestörungen durch den intensiven Kontakt mit Urin und Stuhl, das feuchtwarme Klima sowie Druck und Reibung durch die Windel. Da die Genitoanalregion Schauplatz diverser Dermatosen sein kann, ist eine detaillierte Anamnese mit präziser Inspektion des gesamten Integuments notwendig, um über die richtige Behandlung und ggf. weiterführende Maßnahmen zu entscheiden.
