Navigating Challenges in Skull Base Chondrosarcomas
Patients with petroclival lesions may present with signs and symptoms of intracranial space-occupying lesions. Diagnosis is usually based on clinical, radiological, and histopathology. However, accessing such a lesion for a biopsy is extremely challenging. This requires navigation assistance and surgical expertise to perform the procedure. In this video, we present one such case of a 24-year-old male patient who presented with one-sided diplopia in whom we performed an endoscopic resection of the petroclival lesion.
