Zusammenfassung:
Die kombiniert kieferorthopädisch-kieferchirurgische Behandlung einer jungen Patientin
mit Kiefergelenkssymptomatik wird geschildert. Unterschiedliche Zielsetzungen der
beteiligten Behandler komplizierten die Therapie. Es konnte ein gutes Ergebnis erzielt
werden, das jedoch durch bessere interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit hätte optimiert
werden können.
Summary
The combined orthodontic-orthognathic surgical treatment of a young patient with temporomandibular
disorders is described. The treatment was complicated by differing goals of the therapists
involved. Although a good result was achieved, it could have been optimized through
better interdisciplinary care.
