This, the first issue of 2002, marks a new beginning for Seminars in Neurology. Bob Pascuzzi, who has been the sole Editor in Chief of the journal for the past 4 years, will now be joined by Karen L. Roos, M.D. as Co-Editor in Chief. Dr. Roos brings to the journal years of rich experience as a clinician, scholar, educator, and editor of medical writings. Please be sure to take a moment to review Bob Pascuzzi's ``Introduction to Karen L. Roos'' on the subsequent page-the piece provides some of the highlights of her young and illustrious career to date.
