Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty with adjunctive stent placement has been shown to be an effective and minimally invasive treatment option for symptomatic iliac artery occlusive disease. These endovascular interventions are safe and complications are rarely reported. We describe a rare case of late pseudoaneurysm formation at the distal end of a balloon-expanded iliac stent, detected 1 year after the procedure.
