Einleitung
Die Larynxmaske hat in den letzten 10 Jahren einen unglaublichen Siegeszug in der Anästhesie angetreten und wurde mittlerweile bereits über 150 Millionen Mal erfolgreich eingesetzt. Dennoch gibt es immer noch vereinzelte Punkte in der Anwendung, die sehr heftig und oft allzu emotional, ohne die klare Evidenz der vorliegenden Daten zu betrachten, diskutiert werden.
