Introductory Sentence: The ThermaCool TC System is FDA cleared for the treatment of periorbital wrinkles and rhytids. Currently several off label uses are under investigation for the treatment of other areas of the face and neck. Since the first introduction of the system many changes in the technology and the techniques have taken place.

Early results regarding the effectiveness were uncertain but treatment protocols have been involving. Recent technique modifications and a new and faster treatment tip have resulted in more impressive results. We will present our experience with the new treatment tip and the latest treatment protocols that use less energy and more? passes? over the treating areas. We will discuss the vectors of traction over the skin and the preferred anatomic lines of application depending on the treatment areas. Finally we will elaborate on our pre and post treatment protocols and incorporation of adjunct treatments for the achievement of maximum effect. Methods: Results: Lower power settings and multiple passes have resulted in more effective facial contouring and lifting.
