Summary
Modern homeopaths no longer understand how to use an acute intercurrent remedy. Many homeopaths always try to find one “constitutional” remedy that goes throughout the chronic case history, and apply this one remedy no matter what disease state arises. This article explains why this strategy rarely works. The author discusses when and where to use acute intercurrent remedies and how they are essential for the chronic treatment. Knowledge of Hahnemann's teachings is in these matters the only guide!
