Objective

Symptomatic aberrant retrooesophageal left subclavian artery and right aortic arch is frequently associated with congenital heart disease that may require surgical correction [[1]]. We propose a single-stage repair of these complex lesions through a median sternotomy, or in patients with only a symptomatic abnormal left subclavian artery and right aortic arch, through a left lateral thoracotomy.
