Zusammenfassung
Das Plasmozytom nimmt seinen Ausgang von den B-Lymphozyten und gehört mit einer Inzidenz
von 4 pro 100 000 Einwohner zur Gruppe der Non-Hodgkin-Lymphome. Charakteristisch
ist die in Blut und Urin nachweisbare Bildung monoklonaler Antikörper durch eine maligne
Proliferation von Plasmazellen eines Zellklons. Das Plasmozytom ist im Knochenmark
und im angrenzenden Knochen lokalisiert. Nur in äußerst seltenen Fällen kommt es zu
einer Manifestation außerhalb des Knochens. In diesen Fällen tritt es überwiegend
als Zufallsbefund solitär in der Kopf-Hals-Region auf. Wir berichten über zwei Patienten
mit primär extramedullär-extraskelettalen Plasmozytomen, wobei erstmals eine Dreifachmanifestation
im HNO-Bereich beschrieben wird.
Abstract
Plasmocytomas are non-Hodgkin’s tumors which occur with an incidence of 4/100 000.
Malignant plasma cells in bone marrow produce monoclonal antibodies which are typically
found in urine and blood samples. In rare instances plasmocytoma occur exclusively
in extramedullary locations preferring head and neck region.
We report about two patients with extramedullary plasmocytoma, one of them with an
extremely rare triple manifestation in the upper airway.
